Good afternoon,
Thanks to our students and staff for their cooperation with our recognition assembly this afternoon. We gathered to recognize students for their academic achievement and hard work throughout the school year. We look forward to our grade 8 Move-up celebration on Monday June 19th where parents have been invited to celebrate their student’s completion of the 8th grade and transition to our high school. Teachers will present academic awards to the grade 8 class and the school administration will present several awards to student in a variety of categories including citizenship and leadership. We thank all of the teachers and staff for their energy and hard work all year long and for their help in recognizing students who have worked hard and been good citizens and neighbors throughout the school year. It has been a year in which student leadership has been recognized often and we are thankful for our amazing students.
This is a reminder that this evening's Luau Dance Party for grades 6-8 begins at 6:00 PM and ends at 9:00 PM. Tickets are available at the door for $10 and pizza, drinks and snacks will be served. We thank grade 11 student David Dunn whose band will perform live for the middle school students. We also Thank grade 10 student Hanna Cahn for being the DJ at tonight's dance party for the middle school students. Thanks to grade 6 teacher Mrs. Carter, grade 6 paraprofessional Judith Conway and the middle school student council for sponsoring tonight's dance party. Thanks for your leadership.
