My name is Deanna Towns and I am the HS Physical Education Teacher at West Boylston MHS. I am organizing our 3RD Annual Muddy Buddy 20 obstacle course race, which will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015.  The proceeds will go directly towards helping less fortunate families in town, Joseph’s Project, PE equipment, as well as many other projects.

Last year’s Muddy Buddy was a big success due to our 18 sponsors and almost 300 participants.  We are very excited about the upcoming race and we are expecting it to be bigger and better!  The past two years, the Worcester Police have entered 4 teams (one from the DB and 3 SWAT).  The Worcester Fire Department has accepted the challenge and have 4 teams ready to compete in the event.

Worcester needs some competition PLUS the kids that are competing really love the challenge!  This is a big community event with newspaper coverage and business sponsors.

To make things more interesting, police, fire, EMT can compete in uniform and/or full gear (can skip the mud pit).  To top off the event, there will be a Tug-of-War challenge between departments to see who is the BEST, the STRONGEST.

*Any police, fire, EMT that signs up will receive a FREE Muddy Buddy t-shirt

I would welcome the opportunity to meet with any department to go over details, any questions, as well as pictures from past event.

My email is deannatowns@wbschools and my cell 508-612-2164

Thank you,

Deanna Towns
