Guidance Department Bios
REBECCA LAROCHE, GUIDANCE COUNSELOR – MIDDLE / HIGH SCHOOL
 
Mrs. Laroche is in her 11th year as Middle School Guidance Counselor for West Boylston Middle/ High School.  Prior to her career at West Boylston, Mrs. Laroche worked as an Admissions Counselor for Northeastern University in Boston for three years while completing her Master’s Degree in School Counseling at N.U. In May 2010, Ms. Spencer obtained her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Counseling Psychology from Fitchburg State University.  In addition to her role as Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Laroche leads the Middle School Student Intervention Team and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Team.  She advises the PBIS Student Ambassadors.  She is co-Advisor to Friends Inspiring Student Health (FISH) and the West Boylston Middle/ High Running and Walking Club.
In her free time, Mrs. LaRoche enjoys spending time with her son, Jack.  Together they enjoy hiking, biking, running, and just about anything outdoors.  Ms. Spencer has a committed interest in mindfulness and wellness.  She finds her balance through weekly yoga practices, reading, and time with friends and family.
