We are excited to update you with the news that Massachusetts students will receive FREE school meals in School Year 2023-2024 and in all future years! Massachusetts became the 8^th state to make School Meals for All permanent. The universal free school meals program offers one breakfast and lunch at no charge to all students regardless of income.

For students who choose to bring their own breakfast or lunch from home, milk is available for purchase for $0.60. Milk only is an A La Carte item and is not included under the universal free school meals program.

Please note that even though meals will be free for all, it is very important for families to still complete the household Application for Free and Reduced Price Meals for the 2023-2024 school year.

We strongly encourage all families to submit the application as it allows us to serve families most effectively and helps getting more money for other school programs.  The information you provide is confidential. We follow strict federal rules to keep your information private.

Parents/guardians can create an account to add funds to their child’s lunch account for A La Carte purchases.  Create your account today at https://www.myschoolaccount.com/ to make payments and monitor your child’s meal account. *TO SIGN UP* you will need your child’s student ID# which you can locate in the community portal. Once logged in you can find you child’s student ID# by clicking the individual link for each child.

If you are interested, please consider applying for SNAP, the federal nutrition program that provides eligible residents with monthly financial assistance to purchase groceries. More SNAP information can be found at gettingsnap.org or by calling Project Bread’s FoodSource Hotline at 1-800-645-8333.
