Dear West Boylston Families,

This afternoon the district was informed that a student at Major Edwards has tested positive for COVID-19.  Unfortunately, the student has regular close contact with 14 staff members, all of whom will have to follow quarantine protocols.  

Mr. Audette and I met to review various possibilities of grades 4 and 5 continuing in the hybrid model for the remainder of the week, however the impact of multiple staff quarantines makes it highly unlikely that coverage would be close to sufficient. 

Therefore, Major Edwards (PreK-5) will be following a remote learning schedule for Thursday, January 28th and Friday, January 29th.  The Middle High School will continue following their hybrid schedule.
