Hello, 5th Grade Parents!
The field trip to Nature’s Classroom in Ocean Park, Maine is scheduled for October 15 – 18, 2013. Notice we are going for 4 days, the week following Columbus Day weekend.
This field trip will create memories for a lifetime. The taste of pancakes will bring back the
memory of cruising tables in the dining hall and the words “Ga-ga” will bring memories of laughing and playing an incredible game. The sound of waves lapping on the beach and the sight of tall grass in salt marshes will bring back memories of discovering these environments with classmates, as Ocean Park is a short walk from the ocean.
Through learning and living together, Nature’s Classroom develops community awareness.
If you have concerns, you should know that we have accommodated birthdays, wheelchairs, crutches, and special diets; sleeping concerns such as bad dreams and wet beds; and homesickness. Competent medical care is onsite. The West Boylston Faculty is there for the comfort and well being of your child. It is a time for team building,
personal growth, and new learning experiences.
